Matthew Brandt

Matthew Brandt is a photographer who alters his photos after they have been printed. For example, one of his prints is said to have been washed in the subject's vomit and then rinsed with holy water. These aren't just random photographs, but premeditated and related to the subjects themselves. Another series features photographs of houses colored to match the wrappers of famous chewing gum brands. I think that, conceptually, the idea makes for a more interesting photographs.
