Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott are a fashion photography team that primarily photographs for Vogue Europe and high end designers such as Stella Mccartney, Versace and Gucci. They are known as Mert &Marcus  and are heavily influenced by Guy Bourdin.  In their field they are the pioneers of the use of digital manipulation.  I love their photos because they are so focused on appearance and the need for a powerful woman.  The team's since of urgency comes in the prep work having their models spend hours upon hours in the makeup chair.
