Christian Patterson was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is a self taught photographer, and usually has written text, paintings, drawings and objects in his series. In most of his series, it has some ties to home. In "Bottom of the Lake" it is of his home town. This is interesting that he continues the theme of home and age through all his pictures. This is similar to the style and themes that I want to build upon. The place I came from is how I came to be. I love my home and my little town, that I tend to compare the places I stay to home.
