Steven Brahms

Steven Brahms is a photographer and director from Wisconsin. I have noticed with his work that he likes to do a lot of action series. The examples given below show that "action". They look very planned, very acted out, and very stage but they give a story to the photograph, and they raise a lot of questions about the subjects in the photographs. Within the series, it can take a viewer through a journey from frame to frame. He uses different kinds of lighting and the position the lighting is in. He also plays with different emotions and facial expressions amongst the subjects. His work is very adventurous.
