Ryan Mcginley has been making photographs since 1988. At age 36 he continues to create an imaginary world through his camera's viewfinder. He work is very playful and adventurous. Many of the actions he photographs are illegal and require a thought out plan to make these images possible. His work in context of raw emotion in his subjects, as well as the comfortable  relationship he has created between camera and subject reminds me a lot of Nan Goldin's style in her Ballad of Sexual Dependency.
