What I like about these pictures is that they whole picture makes the picture. If Gursky were to have zoomed into a part of the picture, it would have a different feel. Since he zoomed out and the viewer gets the whole room, the tiny spots of color come together. The objects together almost look like pointillism with dots of color all around.
