Vivian Maier

While searching for some photographers who did a lot of self portraits, I came across a woman name Vivian Maier. The way she capture herself is what I enjoyed the most. Most of her photos either captured her shadow or her reflection. Even though majority of her photos are black and white, I think it looks better and stronger compare to the few of her color self portraits. I feel as though her self portraits are also interactive; as my eyes wanders around each photo trying to find her in it. However not all of photos are of her. Maier is recognized as a street photographer, and has captured other people in the street as well. Both her self portraits and street photos are all captivating to me.
