In Scarpinato's website it says, "images that tell a story, a secret that is waiting to be unearthed, a memory or a place in time." He is 20 years old and is still studying at VCU. His self portraits are put together very well as in they show some sort of story just like what he said. There is a simplicity to the pictures that also leaves you wondering what the picture is showing. This is nice because in the pictures that I take, I try to show some sort of story or a look into life. The pictures that I take are to bring up some kind of memory or thought.
