Matt Eich is a local photographer that was born in Richmond, but now lives in Norfolk. Late last year Eich had an installation in the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. There he showed his "Seven Cities" pictures. In that series he went to the seven cities that are around Norfolk and took many and different pictures around. Some vary from the Naval base and the homecomings there, to a flooded street during a hurricane. The photos below are taken from his recent scans. Along with photos, Eich also does some cinematography and puts together movies. There is a movie on his website that coincides with the "Seven Cities" installation.
