Irving Penn (June 16, 1917 - October 7, 2009) is known for his fashion photography. I like how he was able to capture his subject(s) with very few props. The settle touches he made in his photographs made his work more stronger to me. The way the sheet/blanket is angled as well as how the subjects are positioned is interesting to me. I feel as thought they are inviting our eyes into the photo. The corner photo, I really like too. To me, it's a different way of photographing someone in sort of a Photo Booth style. The lady and the bottle is quite remarkable. The way he is able to capture her and her reflection in the bottle is amazing.
