Annie Leibovitz

Annie Leibovitz is a portrait photographer. She works with celebrities and not like the way the paparazzi does, she gets their portraits willingly. It clearly shows when someone is ready and willing for a photo compared to when they are uncomfortable. Celebrities are naturally okay with being in front of the camera so it's easy to get a natural look from them. Leibovitz does a wide variety of bizarre settings from full body paint to a bathtub full of milk.

the pictures show extreme emotion and closeness to the subject. The people seem to be revealing a part of their true selves and not their typical every day self but something inside.
